Silent Bob himself, Kevin Smith, is casting a new television series set in his comic shop “The Secret Stash.” He’s not looking for actors, he’s looking for real people who live and breath the comic book lifestyle. Must be funny outgoing and have a knowledge and passion for comics, superheroes, movie memorabilia and everything that goes with it. Looking for men and women ages 21 – 35 in the Tri-state area only. Must be available in Red Bank, NJ on either June 2nd or June 3rd AND a 3-day shoot on June 14th – 16th. There are thousands of videos just like these and I can only imagine how many assaults and murders by police are not even known about.

What she received instead was her beautiful four-year-old German Shepard Dog, Ava, gunned down and killed by Officer Jamie Chester. This is Chester’s second time shooting and killing a dog in his capacity as a police officer for The Town of Erie. Brittany Moore has disputed the Erie Police Department’s account of the incident, claiming that Ava had turned away from Chester on command and was walking towards her when Ava was gunned down. Officer Chester claims Ava was baring her teeth, hair on her neck was up and lunged at him.
Upon a necropsy at Colorado State University, Brittany Moore was told that the bullet entered Ava through her back and severed her spinal cord, inconsistent with the claims Officer Chester has made.”

Excerpt From hollywoodreporter.com ” Kevin Smith plans to release his new horror movie Red State himself, the writer-director declared at the film’s first public screening at the Eccles Theatre on Sunday night.Smith had suggested for weeks that he would hold an auction post-screening for rights to his film, but ultimately announced that he would take the movie on the road himself throughout 2011 ahead of a planned Oct. 19 release. He paid himself a token $20 for the privilege, and he hopes that the roadshow will make some of the movie’s roughly $4 million budget back.”What we need to prove is that anyone can release a movie,” Smith said from the Eccles stage as part of a long and profanity-laced speech after the movie ended, during which he championed Harvey Weinstein as an inspiration and mentor. “Indie film isn’t dead, it just grew up. It is just indie film 2.0 now.
