IRVINE, CALIFORNIA — OCTOBER 18, 2011 — ATLUS today announced the 2011 edition of their annual ATLUS-themed costume contest, ATLUS-O-Weenie. In addition to a grand prize voted on by fans, and 4 randomly selected winners, the contest will feature categories for the best Catherine-themed outfit, the best KOF XIII-themed outfit, and the best Persona-themed outfit.
“With so many games with characters that fans have really developed a strong connection to, we felt that it made sense to give each of these categories some special recognition,” said Tim Pivnicny, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Prizes for this year’s winners will be a $300 gift card for the grand prize winner, $200 gift cards for each of the special category winners, and $25 for each of the four random prize winners. The first 200 approved entries for the competition will also receive a Steam code for a free PC copy of ATLUS & ACE Team’s zany action/strategy hybrid Rock of Ages.
Contest submissions will be accepted beginning October 18, 2011 at noon PDT, and end on November 11, 2011 at 11:59am PDT. Voting begins on 12:01pm on November 11, 2011 and closes on 11:59pm on November 18, 2011. The contest is open to residents of the U.S. and Canada who are over the age of 18.
